The Norfolk Botanical Garden is an oasis of more than 50 themed gardens that encompass 175 beautiful acres. Surrounded by water on three sides with picturesque canals, it is one of the only botanical gardens in the U.S. you can explore on foot, by tram or by boat. The garden features one of the largest collections of azaleas, roses, camellias and crape myrtles on the East Coast. Information about the garden can be found at Norfolk Botanical Gardens
The Sarah Lee Baker Perennial Garden will welcome AHS members to see more than 200 different perennials and more than 500 cultivars of daylilies.
Close to this garden is the Dan Tau Region 3 seedling bed that features 71 daylily plants sent by 25 members of Region 3. Attendees will be voting for one daylily to receive the Region 3 Dan Tau Award.
