In 2007 Greg and Dianna moved to a home sitting upon just over 6 acres of land. They began to create flower beds filled with annuals, perennials, and woody ornamentals. In 2013 they agreed to be a tour garden for the 2017 National Convention and be the host garden for regional beds, showcasing plants sent by each region. They now have more than 900 cultivars of daylilies on display, which include about 200 cultivars sent by Regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15. Each region approached the task differently. For example, Region 13 sent all Stout Medal Winners and daylilies that historically have had superior performance, while Region 2 sent newer cultivars to show off introductions from hybridizers that may not be known in other regions.
Greg and Dianna look forward to welcoming "hemaholics" from around the country to their garden and hope you will fall in love with daylilies that you have never seen before, from hybridizers that are new to you.
